Premiered on the 1st of June 2016 at the 19th Cinemambiente - Environmental Film Festival in Torino, Italy.
"The Tam Dao National Park, North Vietnam. Through interviews and archive material we learn about the activities of Animalasia, an NGO that cares for moonbears saved from the torture of extracting their bile, an ingredient in traditional oriental medicines. Through the efforts of Animalasia this practice has been declared illegal."
Andrea Daddi and Nadia Zanellato start their collaboration in 1999 founding the vj and video art collective Kidddz. During these years they produced experimental short movies, video installations, vj sets, mapping for big music events, artistic projects, museums, contemporary dance and theatre. Moonbears on Planet Earth is their first documentary.
