Description

This is the second Blamstrain CD on Merck, that being a collection of remixes of tracks from his first debut CD “Ensi”. With a varied and allstar lineup of remixers on it including Mesak (1/2 of Mr. Velcro Fastener), Proem, Funckarma, Isan, Gridlock, Mosaik, Taho, Lackluster, Syndrone, No Xivic, and a special closing track by Blamstrain himself. His first album straddled the divide between idm and techno and these remixes bring an even greater diversity to his sound, from Mesak’s intelligent electro, to Isans lush downtempo reconfiguration on to Lackluster’s 4/4 breakdown and on into Blamstrain and No Xivic’s dark ambient closers.
